This is a reminder to all guitar students that they should leave their guitars at school, as instructed, at the end of the day. When students arrive, guitars will be tuned and left in class-performing order for the evening.
P.S. Any students who still have outstanding method books or monies should hand them in to me or their home room teacher as soon as possible.

Hello everyone,
This is just a reminder that guitar student's practice logs are due this Tuesday to Ms. Elliott and Ms. Chang, respectively. Students are reminded that the log must have 5 complete practice sessions and a signature to accompany every session that has been signed by a parent/guardian. These logs are still due every Tuesday.
If you have any questions as to the correct method of filling-out logs or any questions regarding material covered in class, please contact me.

If you have ANY questions, please ask me in class to address them. The practice routine that has been distributed is a road map for the next month worth of repertoire and is not meant to be completed in one week or day, but over the course of the next month.
Please continue to practice in my absence. A reminder that a completed and signed practice log is due to your teacher every Tuesday.

Alternate picking tips
1. DO NOT hold the pick any differently.
2. Think 'bounce' instead of attack on the string.
3. Find a point to use as an 'anchor' for you wrist.
Most importantly: rotate from the wrist and not the arm!

Hello Everyone,
This is a small reminder to all guitar students about the importance of handing in practice logs. In the last couple of weeks, submission of these logs has unfortunately decreased. A reminder to parents/guardians that your guitar student should be submitting a log to track their private practice sessions and hand it in to you for a signature of verification before submission. The logs are not useful if they do not receive a signature. If anyone requires any clarification about any aspect of the practice log, please contact me.
